Made for Spaces is an industrial design and ceramics studio led by Simone Reynolds. The studio makes architectural objects using local materials and industrial methods.
        To share knowledge learned along the way (and to help us grow) we run Earth*Oxide—a ceramics school where students can learn the basics of industrial ceramics by crafting their own pieces. As Made for Spaces grows, so does our range of workshops as we aim to keep industrial pottery alive for future generations.
        Founder, Simone Reynolds works professionally as a contract ceramicist and mould-maker for a variety of clients in Aotearoa and Australia. Her work to date has been under the mentorship of master industrial potters and mould-makers: Rob Uivel of Lyttelton Pottery, Aotearoa NZ; and George Vozar of George Vozar Pottery, lutruwita Tasmania, AU.
